OPERATIVE (Cavities)

Amalgam: silver filling (mix of different metals including Mercury)
Bonding: placing of composite

Class 1: one surface cavity
Class 2: two surface cavity
Class 3: cavity on the proximal surface of front teeth
Class 4: class 3 including the incisal edge
Class 5: one surface cavity on the labial of front teeth
Class 6: cavity on the incisal edge or occlusal cusp

Composite: tooth colored filling (mix of resin)
Gold foil: Gold filling
Sealant: liquid placed in the grooves of back teeth to prevent caries to settle in
